Lead .NET Developer

Charles Simon Associates are currently looking for a Lead.NET Developer on a permanent basis for our prestigious and fast growing market leader who are based in Manchester.


This is a FULLY REMOTE role

 

Location: Remote (Travel to site once or twice a quarter)

Salary: Up to £85,000 per annum D.O.E

 

Skills/Requirements for the Senior .NET Developer:

  • Previous experience in a similar senior role is vital for this position
  • Extensive C# programming experience
  • Ideally experience of other programming languages as well
  • Strong back end skills, any front end experience is a bonus
  • Ability to work alongside the DevOps team, therefore experience in Azure and/or AWS
  • Docker and/or Kubernetes in order to run and deploy services
  • Extensive SQL Server experience and ideally some Azure storage
  • Stakeholder management experience
  • Knowledge of creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience of Microservices Architecture is highly desirable

 

Start date is ASAP for the Senior .NET Developer

 

The Senior .NET Developer will be responsible for:

  • Designing, implementing and delivering software features and projects from inception to the production support phase
  • Dealing with stakeholders daily to provide them with updates on current projects, any issues and projected completion dates
  • Taking complete ownership of the code in order to ensure the stability and performance
  • Liaising and developing working relationships with other members of the IT team, helpdesk and web design departments.
  • Supporting and mentoring software developers and colleagues in other departments to enhance and deliver business solutions.
  • Ensuring that all software released is tested thoroughly and is reliable and robust in delivering its objectives to provide a service to customers.
